Cernay-lès-Reims BESS: France's largest operational battery farm

TEWA Solar, NR FLEX, B_ENGINEERING Ingénieurs - conseils and HTB GC are proud to have provided their expertise to TagEnergy as Assistant Project Manager on the Cernay-lès-Reims 240 MW/480 MWh BESS project connected to the high-voltage grid, the largest operational battery farm in France.

This is the first in a major series of projects for the TEWA Solar and NR FLEX consortium, which now has nine HV projects under construction or at the consultation stage, demonstrating its proven expertise in TSO connected projects.

For this project, as with the others, we always apply the same formula:

• In-depth knowledge of RTE requirements and proficiency in the HTB connection process, from connection requests to final commissioning
• Expertise in the overall design of the energy system: from grid interactions through to battery performance
• One subject = one expert: our experts combine 10 to 40 years' experience in each discipline, whether in design review, factory inspection, construction supervision or commissioning
• A 'turnkey' solution for project owners: all technical aspects relating to project delivery are taken care of
• Trust-based relationships established with manufacturers and construction companies.
